Nintendo 3DS Fastest System to Sell 5 Million Units in Japan

The Nintendo 3DS didn’t have the best of beginnings, but that has changed dramatically. The flagship portable from Nintendo managed to achieve 5 million units sold in the land of the rising sun in only 52 weeks. It took the DS 56 weeks to hit the same number of units sold and the GameBoy Advance 58 weeks. I am really happy to see that the 3DS has a really solid base now and that AAA titles like Resident Evil Revelations and Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D keep coming to the system.
