At the conclusion of Nintendo’s April Nintendo Direct conference, Mr. Iwata himself announced the sequel to the best selling DS game of all time, New Super Mario Bros. 2 for the Nintendo 3DS. Not much is known about the game at the moment, other than the triumphant comeback of flying Raccoon Mario and the introduction of a mysterious Golden Mario. Nintendo of America confirmed via Twitter that it’s coming out here in the West at the same time, as well. Get ready to take Mario back to side scrolling goodness this August!
