Yet another bit of info thanks to recent scans of the unreleased Nintendo Power, Cave Story will be re-released for the eShop on the 3DS. The revamped DSi version of Cave Story (different than the 3D retail version) will provide the same side-scrolling game that includes more modes, better widescreen, and new 3D effects. Although there is no official release date yet, this could possibly be the best version of the game to be released.
