Hoping to calm any remaining concerns over where the Wii U fits into the broad scheme of things, Jeremiah Slaczka from 5th Cell spoke out with this to say:

“(Wii U is) definitely more powerful than Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It’s kind of frustrating to see the rumors and speculation of people going back and forth saying it’s weaker or more powerful. It’s definitely more powerful.”

He also discussed a bit of history behind Scribblenauts Unlimited and where it was originally meant to go:

“I think we were one of the first developers to see the Wii U. Nintendo came to our studio and demoed it to us. A couple of weeks later Warner Bros. got to see it, and we said we should do this. This game was originally a Wii title but later moved to Wii U. It’s been about two years in development.”

By now, hopefully everyone is convinced that the Wii U does not stand level with the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3. If only Nintendo would do more of the convincing themselves….

I’m just wait until a tear down, or a dev kit manual leak.

Yeah because when someone says the Wii U is more powerful than current gen consoles, that’s so hard to believe. But if someone turns around and say it’s less powerful, you’d be all over that trolling and agreeing.

I don’t believe what anyone says about the hardware anymore.

and I’ve never had a personal troll before, this is very exciting!
